Pat has been creating wearable art for over 20 years. She won the Award of Excellence for her collage technique in 1998 and her Scraps to Riches technique in 2002, both from the Canadian Quilt Association.
When Pat begins a new garment design, her inspiration come from the cloth. She cuts images and shapes and combines elements into rich amd varied landscape collages. Arranging, and re-arranging, manipulating, balancing, her design comes to life. Her stitching skills invite the viewer to come closer and explore the art piece. Each garment is an expression of her creative spirit.
All garments are made from natural cottons, silks or linen combinations. They are pre-washed and soften with age.
